Lucy Lu is the Managing Partner of aiLegal Law, where she leads the firm’s general practice, expansion strategy, and executive management. A dynamic lawyer and entrepreneur, she combines two decades of immigration and corporate law experience with a strong focus on innovation, client service, and technology-driven solutions.
Having immigrated to the U.S. as an international student more than 20 years ago, Lucy built her career around helping immigrants, businesses, and organizations navigate complex legal challenges. She founded a full-service immigration law firm and later expanded into legal technology, creating software that helps lawyers draft, automate, and collaborate more effectively. Her diverse practice spans immigration, corporate governance, business transactions, and litigation, with deep expertise counseling multinational companies, startups, nonprofits, and individual clients.
Experience
Immigration Law – Counsels international companies on inbound/outbound immigration, represents talents and families in full immigration services, and handles removal defense and federal litigation.
Corporate Law – Advises on corporate structures, governance, incentive plans, valuation, financing, and exit strategies for startups, franchises, and nonprofits.
Business Transactions – Counsels U.S. and international clients on cross-border transactions, sales of goods/services, and U.S. market entry.
