Before joining the firm, Ayan founded her own immigration law firm in Atlanta, Georgia handling employment immigration, family immigration, humanitarian, and removal defense matters. During her law school, she served as a law clerk for multiple boutique immigration law firms in Atlanta and Nashville, including Ibarhim & Rao, LLP, Bass, Berry & Sims PLC, and Bone McAllester Norton, PLLC in the business immigration, asylum, and removal defense practice. Ayan also attended Immigration Advocacy Clinic at Vanderbilt University Law School working on T visa matters. In addition to her immigration practice experience, Ayan served as an English teacher in Yidu Foreign Language School in Yidu, Hubei, China.
