aiLegal utilizes Stripe as one payment gateway for aiLegal user's payment collection. Stripe is an American financial software company offering payment processing and application programming interfaces for marketplace applications. (https://stripe.com/).
It takes a few minutes for aiLegal to connect Stripe as a payment gateway through aiLegal's platform. You need to be an administrator user of aiLegal in order to set up the payment gateway for your business. Here are the step by step instructions.
Step 1: Login to aiLegal portal and click "Admin" icon on the left bar.
Step 2: Click "Account and Settings".
Step 3: Click "Merchant Accounts" in the "Account and Settings".
Step 4: Click "Add" on the right top screen.
Step 5: Click "Stripe" and you'll be directed to Strip website for integration. Please do NOT close your aiLegal webpage.
Step 6: If you have an account with Stripe, please click "Sign in" on the right top screen. If you do not have an account with Stripe, please complete your business details to register an account with Stripe.
If you register an account with Stripe, please click "Authorize access to this account" to authorize aiLegal to use your stripe account to collect payments for you.
Step 7: Once you connect your Stripe account with aiLegal, you'll be directed to aiLegal's portal where the connection status is displayed as "Enabled".
Step 8: You can connect multiple Stripe accounts for your payment collections. So you can direct different purpose payment to your different bank accounts linked to Stripe. Simply repeat the above steps. You can also rename each account with your preferences.
